Combined Planning / Zoning Board

The Borough of South Bound Brook’s Combined Planning and Zoning Board is responsible for a wide range of regulations that deal with community development and planning. The Planning Board Secretary, Carol Rice, can be reached at 732-356-0284 ext 36.
Some of the major responsibilities of the Board are to:

1. Hear requests for variances as well as appeals of the decision of the Zoning Officer.
2. Review plans for subdivisions and site plans for proposed development.
3. Review requested changes to the Zoning regulations and make recommendations to the Borough Council.
4. Review and prepare the Master Plan for the Borough.

The Combined Planning and Zoning Board meets monthly on the 2nd Wednesday at 7:30pm at Borough Hall.
