GARBAGE PICKUP

The entire town has their garbage picked up on Thursday's. Residents can put out up to (3) cans of garbage at the curb line after 5pm on Wednesday's.

RECYCLING

Recycling is collected every other Thursday by Somerset County Recycling Department. If you need recycling containers or require additional information about the recycling program contact the county office at
(908) 231-7000 and ask for the County Recycling Department.

BRUSH AND BRANCHES COLLECTION

The new monthly schedule for brush and tree branch collection will be the first and third Friday. Garden debris (vegetable plants, weeds, vines and small shrub clippings) is included in this pick up and must be in cans -
not in bags. Grass clippings will not be accepted.

If collection date falls on a Borough observed holiday or a furlough day, brush collection will automatically be scheduled for the following Friday. Remaining furlough days for 2010 are: November 1st, November 12th and December 27th.

FALL LEAF COLLECTION

Fall leaf collection will begin on the third Monday in October and end the first Monday in January. Leaves must be placed curbside in biodegradable paper bags. Biodegradable paper bags can be purchased at local hardware and home improvement stores as well as local supermarkets.

Snow Removal

In order to facilitate prompt snow removal all vehicles must be removed from Borough roads prior to a snow fall. Sidewalks must be cleared of snow within 12 hours after a snowfall.
